Broward Children’s Center Raised $60,117 at Their Annual Miles for Smiles Walk & Festival

Broward Children’s Center held their Annual Miles for Smiles Walk & Festival on November 21, 2015. The event’s goal is to raise funds for the medical and educational services provided by Broward Children’s Center, which serves more than 1,200 children with disabilities annually. This year the event raised $60,117!
Miles for Smiles provides a once a year opportunity to nurture and protect some of the most medically fragile children in the nation by funding the highly-specialized medical care Broward Children’s Center delivers. This care saves lives and improves the health and happiness of thousands of children. For 40 years, Broward Children’s Center has been providing nonprofit education, medical, and residential services to infants, children, and young adults who are at risk or have special needs. The private nonprofit accomplishes this through community support. BCC has been a TGI customer for over 15 years. We were glad to be able to support as a Presenting Sponsor. At the event, TGI’s Branch Manager Paul Franetovich thanked BCC for their loyalty and for helping our community prosper.
Starting at the Pompano Beach Elks Lodge, Walk participants circled the four-mile Pompano Beach Air Park trail and celebrated at the finish line. Breakfast, lunch, and goodie bags were provided to all attendees. TGI’s employees cheered on runners and walkers at the finish line!
