Changing the World is a Walk in the Park- YAI’s 2013 Central Park Challenge

Posted October 2013

Central Park Challenge

On June 1, 2013, TGI—along with thousands of people—will be participating in YAI Network‘s 3K walk or 5K run at the Central Park Challenge. Together we are working to raise money to support a world that sees beyond disability.

More than 20,000 people with developmental disabilities count on the YAI Network for homes, schools, healthcare, jobs and other critical services that enable them to live full and productive lives. More than ever, they’re counting on people like us to make sure that they’re able to continue to provide these vital services.

UPDATE:

The YAI 2013 Central Park Challenge was a HUGE success! Team TGI raised $12,270 in just 1 week! Your gifts will allow YAI to provide vital services to individuals with developmental disabilities that help them to live the fullest life possible. Children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome rely on the YAI Network for basic services such as preschools, health care, housing, and job training. Thanks to your support of YAI, these individuals will reach their fullest potential and be active members of our community.
