Ricoh named ‘Best Manufacturer’
Posted October 2015
The Cannata Report honored Ricoh at their annual awards dinner. Ricoh was named the “Best Manufacturer” of the year by The Cannata Report, published by Marketing Research Consultants LLC.
The award is based on responses to The Cannata Report’s 30th Annual Dealer Survey, where 280 dealers provided feedback on which manufacturer they believe offers the best products – everything
from desktop devices and MFPs to continuous feed inkjet and digital presses. It comes on the heels of Ricoh being recognized for the previous two years as “Best MFP Manufacturer” of the year.
“We posed three questions addressing production print in our most recent survey,” said Frank Cannata, President, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of The Cannata Report. “More Ricoh dealers (80%) who claimed they were involved in production print indicated movement of the greatest number of different models from a single manufacturer than any other, including Canon, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Sharp and Toshiba.”
“This recognition from The Cannata Report is a testament that dealers and customers agree with Ricoh’s continued focus on delivering innovative products that help to improve workflows – in both the office and production print environments,” said Tim Vellek, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “We are proud of this achievement, as it is a result of our ongoing commitment to and collaboration with our dealers.”
The award was presented at The Cannata Report’s 30th Annual Awards and Charities Dinner October 1 at the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph, N.J. The Cannata Dinner raised a record $153,000 that will be used to establish an esophageal cancer research grant funded in partnership with The V Foundation for Cancer Research in memory of beloved industry veteran Bob Shields of Florida-based Copytronics Information Systems. Money raised through a silent auction of sports memorabilia at the event was given to the New Jersey-based Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon (AaSP).
