TGI Improves Document Workflow & Security for Senior Healthcare Provider

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
This Health System is a nationally recognized provider of health care, housing and support services for seniors and their families in Palm Beach County. They provide luxury independent & assisted living, short- & long-term rehab, counseling, and hospice in South Florida. They have been leading the way in senior care for over thirty-four years. Their broad range of services touch the lives of over 3,600 seniors every day.

CHALLENGE
This Senior Health Provider wanted a solution to better managed the scanning processes and device restrictions. They had a card authentication package (CAP) & Nuance AutoStore in place from a previous vendor but the solutions had too many shortcomings. The IT department wanted a more standardized workflow for scanning and print release. The Department heads were also requesting printing reports.

SOLUTION
To address each of their requests, TGI offered the PaperCut application. PaperCut makes print management as easy and pain free as possible. From simple tracking and monitoring of print jobs, authenticating users with swipe or proximity cards, and Find-Me Printing and Secure Print Release all the health care providers needs were met.
TGI’s Solutions Team provided a proof of concept and a cost comparison showing an immediate ROI and continued savings.

RESULTS
With PaperCut in place, it became much easier to manage their large fleet of copiers and the scanning process was simple for users to scan to specific folders. The IT staff needed very little involvement in managing the permissions for their environment of over 500 users. Print Release and Find-Me Print are configured per each department’s request. Reports are now automatically generated and emailed to each department head at the end of each month.
