TGI Provides Document Management Solutions to NY/NJ Bank

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
This American banking institution with community spirit, opened for business in 1960. Today, the bank maintains multiple branch locations in the New York and New Jersey. They offer personal and business banking solutions as well as consumer, commercial and commercial real estate lending options.

CHALLENGE
The bank kept all their banking records for all branches in paper format. This resulted in thousands of boxes containing paper files in storage at each branch. Finding archived files was difficult. They wanted to reduce the number of paper documents and develop an updated process for any new documents going forward.

SOLUTION
TGI offered the DocuWare Cloud document management system in addition to scanning services. Boxes full of paper documents were picked up from each location, digitized, indexed, and imported into the document management system for search and retrieval. DocuWare Cloud offered workflow automation delivered on a secure, scalable cloud platform.

TGI created a custom demonstration with the bank’s documents and processes to show how the system would work in their environment.

RESULTS
All branches and the main office now have the ability to instantly access digital versions of customer documents. Loans, deposit slips, and signature cards are quickly retrieved by simply typing in the account number. In addition, new policies were put into place for all new documents to be kept in a digital format to avoid any future paper storage.

TGI also provides over 20 multifunction devices to assist with all document workflow needs.
