The City of Norwalk Unanimously Selects TGI as Their Solutions Provider

The City of Norwalk recently solicited proposals for the supply and installation of over 70 leased copier/multifunction devices. After a period of 14 months, TGI Office Automation was awarded the contract!
After an extensive bid process, TGI proved to be the provider of choice due to the improved technology we proposed at a more competitive price. TGI won the bid unanimously. It was a tall challenge as TGI bid against Xerox which is headquartered in Norwalk, CT.
TGI completed comprehensive walk-through assessments and our team created floor plans for all of The City of Norwalk’s facilities to illustrate how TGI’s proposed Lanier equipment would be in the prime locations to increase efficiency. We provided detailed responses to all of the City’s questions and developed a custom Service Level Agreement to achieve all of their requests.
One of the key differentiators that impressed The City of Norwalk was our ability to address their unique billing requirements. Many of our nationwide accounts require custom invoices and we always accommodate their needs.
Another factor that was extremely important to The City of Norwalk was ease of use. They had difficultly managing their previous fleet of equipment because the equipment had many different user interfaces. TGI’s proposed Ricoh/Lanier user interface was consistent throughout the product line making it simple to navigate and manage.
Once we were selected as their vendor, we began to execute the in-depth implementation plan and detailed training. We worked with their I.T. Staff to insure a smooth transition as The City of Norwalk previously had both Ricoh and Xerox equipment. The installation was a success and we are pleased to be The City of Norwalk’s solutions provider.
