Top Notch Sponsor, TGI, Helps Raise More than $135,000 for PBSC STEAM Initiative
Posted April 2017
The Palm Beach State College Foundation raised more than $135,000 at the annual Golf Classic for the College’s STEAM initiative. TGI was proud to sponsor such an exceptional event.
More than $1.7 million has been raised at the golf tournaments over the last 12 years. The funds go toward STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) student scholarships and program enhancements to impact the projected shortage of local, skilled professionals in these fields. To date, the tournaments have funded 1,000 scholarships.
Thirty-four golf foursomes played in the tournament held at Wanderers Country Club in Wellington. We were honored to have spent this day of excitement to support student success at Palm Beach State! TGI’s Director of IT Services, David Bergeson, and Branch Service Manager, Larry Berger are both featured below.
