YAI’s Central Park Challenge Highlights
Posted June 2026

On Saturday, May 20, 2026 both TGI and iPower employees gathered at our Assistive Technology Showcase across from Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park for YAI’s Central Park Challenge.
This is one of New York’s largest events that celebrates people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each year, the event raises crucial funds to support YAI’s work of creating opportunities for people with I/DD to live, love, work, and learn in their communities. Click here to learn more.
Our family, friends, employees, clients, and partners join our team by walking, attending our booth, donating, or fundraising. $11,650 was raised by one of our teams! Thank you to all who helped us support YAI! Together we made a big impact.
Over $600,000 has been raised so far and YAI is making one final push to reach their goal of $625,000 stretch goal by June 30. If you would like to help CLICK HERE!
Robert Boyer, YAI’s Information Technology \ Procurement Associate Director said, “At YAI, our first alliance is the people we support. They are at the center of everything we do every program, every service, every goal. Your support allows us to stand alongside them, helping create opportunities, independence, and a stronger future.”
The Central Park Challenge isn’t just an event — it’s people coming together, celebrating the disability community, and building a space where everyone belongs.
