Not only do we financially contribute to non-profit organizations, but we also actively participate in fundraising and help to generate awareness of the impactful services these organizations provide. TGI partners with organizations such as United Cerebral Palsy of NYC, Services for the UnderServed, YAI (Young Adult Institute), AHRC (Association for the help of Retarded Children), Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Palm Beach State College Foundation, Food Bank for New York City, Feeding South Florida, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association as well as many others.
On Saturday, June 4, TGI once again participated in the Central Park Challenge to help change lives for people with developmental disabilities and their families. TGI employees as well as friends, family and clients donated $11,335! The entire event raised $610,616. Team TGI came in 6th place for Top Fundraisers. We appreciate your help! Broward Children’s Center held their Annual Miles for Smiles Walk & Festival on November 21, 2015. The event’s goal is to raise funds for the medical and educational services provided by Broward Children’s Center, which serves more than 1,200 children with disabilities annually. United Cerebral Palsy of New York City held their 14th Annual Golf Tournament at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY on Monday, October 5th. The event raised over $200,000 to support the programs and services UCP of NYC provides to thousands of New Yorkers and their families. The Champion Award was presented to the UCP of NYC All Stars, two-time Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Center Basketball Tournament winners for demonstrating the power to inspire and lead as role models. On June 6, TGI participated in YAI’s 3K Walk / 5K Run Central Park Challenge to help change lives for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Each year, the YAI Annual Golf Tournament brings together more than 100 members of the corporate community for 18 holes of golf and networking opportunities, to raise funds for vital programs and services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
